An option analytics app for NSE F&O: what TBTflow shows, what it costs, and what it refuses to do

People search for the best option analytics app in India and get a list of ten apps described in the same adjectives. This page answers a narrower question honestly: what TBTflow shows for NSE F&O, at what resolution, what it costs, what it deliberately does not do, and who should not buy it. Every claim links to a page where the data is visible.

What it shows

The tape, not a summary of it. Every trade print and the top five levels of the order book, live, for 213 NSE F&O stocks, their stock futures, and the NIFTY and SENSEX futures. From that: futures order flow in rupees, cash flow with block prints attributed and removed, sweeps through the asks and bids, and a per-stock card that says what the book and the flow did today. The data spec lists every source and retention period.

The option structure, rebuilt every 30 seconds. Option Walls / Gamma Blast: the pin, the walls, the craters, the resting depth on each side of the pin, and every large option print with its aggressor side. The guide explains each reading; the detector page publishes the machine's full record including its misses.

Open interest as flow, not as a snapshot. Long and short build-ups per stock from the day's own open, OI walls and zones on the index, futures basis, and a BTST read graded against what happened next.

Breadth and movers at real one-minute resolution. Day, 15-minute, 5-minute, 3-minute and 1-minute gainers and losers from the live feed, not from a delayed scanner.

Free, without a card: 17 price and volume scans, live, behind an email sign-in. And the expiry recaps, free to everyone: what the at-the-money option did in the last 30 minutes of every NIFTY and SENSEX expiry, written from tick data the same evening.

What it costs

₹499 for a week, ₹999 for a month, or ₹2,399 for three months, each paid once with GST included. No autopay, no broker tie-in, no execution, no commission on anything. The price page is at /subscribe.

What it deliberately does not do

It does not give buy or sell calls, targets or stop losses. It is not registered with SEBI as an adviser or research analyst and does not pretend to be one; the vocabulary on every panel is "data shows". It has no strategy builder and no payoff diagrams, which the option-strategy apps do well. It does not place orders. It does not backtest your idea; it publishes its own studies, pre-registered with a decision date, and lists the ones that failed so they are not rebuilt. It does not show a reading it cannot grade: a new measure runs in shadow for about 46 sessions before it is called anything.

Who should not buy it

Anyone who wants a strategy builder, anyone who wants to be told what to do, and anyone who trades from a five-minute chart and does not look at the book. TBTflow is for the trader who wants to see who is doing what on the tape, right now, and decide alone. That is a smaller group than "everyone who trades options", and the product is built for them.

How to judge any option analytics app, including this one

Ask four questions and expect numbers. At what resolution is the option chain refreshed, and is the gap shown when the exchange rate-limits it? Does the app show order-book depth, and for how many instruments? Does it publish the record of its own readings, including the misses? And does it use the word "signal"? TBTflow's answers: every ten seconds with holes drawn as holes; five levels for about 420 instruments; yes, on the detector page and the recaps; and no.

Quick questions

Which is the best option analytics app in India?
There is no single answer, because the apps do different jobs. Strategy-builder apps model payoffs; broker apps execute; TBTflow shows the live tape and option structure for NSE F&O at tick resolution and publishes the record of its own readings. Choose by the job: if you want to see order flow and the pin-book depth while it happens, TBTflow is built for that; if you want to build a spread and see its payoff, use a strategy builder.
Does TBTflow give option trading tips or calls?
No. TBTflow is a data and analytics product. It is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or research analyst and gives no buy or sell recommendations, targets or stop losses. Every panel describes market activity that has already happened.
Is TBTflow free?
There is a free tier behind an email sign-in: 21 live price and volume scans, and the expiry recaps are free to everyone without sign-in. The full dashboard is a one-time pass: Rs 499 for a week, Rs 999 for a month or Rs 2,399 for three months, GST included.
What data resolution does TBTflow use for options?
The NIFTY and SENSEX option chains are polled every ten seconds during the session, 25 strikes each side of the money, and 84 index option legs are followed on a live analytics feed with Greeks. When the exchange rate-limits the poll, the gap is shown as a gap on the charts rather than filled in.
What is the best app for options trading in India?
Trading and analysis are different apps. Orders go through a SEBI-registered broker's app; an analytics app shows what the market is doing. TBTflow is the second kind: tape, five-level book and option structure, and it places no orders. The best app for option trading analysis in India is the one whose numbers you can check: dated figures, published misses, no calls. That is a description, not advice.
Is TBTflow an open interest analysis app or an OI data app?
Partly. It shows open interest and OI change per strike on the NIFTY and SENSEX chains every 30 seconds, so it does the job of an OI analysis app. Its distinct read is the tape underneath the OI: which side each large print hit, and the resting book on each side of the pin. An option chain analysis app that stops at OI cannot show either.
Does it work as an option greeks app or an IV calculator app?
It shows implied volatility per strike and the at-the-money IV path through the session on the index chains, so the IV you would otherwise calculate is on screen. It is not a calculator you type a price into, and it is not F&O analysis software with a strategy builder or payoff graphs. The comparison pages say what it does not do.
Is TBTflow an intraday trading app?
No. TBTflow does not place trades. It is a data and analytics app you keep open next to your broker's trading app: order flow, open interest, gamma and live scans, tick by tick.
What does F&O analytics mean?
F&O analytics means reading futures and options data rather than only the price chart: open interest by strike, changes in OI next to price, implied volatility, the futures basis, and who is lifting offers or hitting bids. TBTflow computes these from tick data for NSE F&O.
What is FnO in the share market?
FnO (F&O) stands for futures and options, the derivatives segment of the exchange. A future is an agreement to buy or sell at a set price on expiry; an option gives the right but not the obligation. SEBI's own studies have found that most individual F&O traders lose money.
FnO kya hota hai?
FnO means futures and options, the derivatives part of the stock market, where contracts on indices like NIFTY and on about 210 stocks are traded.

What if you could read every panel on this screen — chapter by chapter?

Trading by the Numbers walks through the quantitative reads behind a modern F&O dashboard — order-flow imbalance, footprints, VWAP bands, OI flow, gamma structure and the composite read — in plain trader-to-trader language. Gamma terrain is chapter 18.
